DARK SELECTIONS (ABN 38 542 150 562) is here to provide you a convenient and economical method of ordering equestrian (horse, rider, and stable) products online. By using this Site you agree to be bound by the terms & conditions following. Please read them carefully. Your usage of the Site indicates your acceptance and understanding of these terms & conditions. If you place an order with DARK SELECTIONS this also indicates your acceptance and understanding of these terms & conditions.


DISCLAIMER FOR PRODUCTS SOLD

Except as expressly stated herein, DARK SELECTIONS makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on this Site. In no event shall DARK SELECTIONS, its Directors, Employees and Representatives be liable for direct, indirect, consequential or punitive damages related to the products sold.

ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT

When you activate an account with DARK SELECTIONS you will receive a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this password at all times. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account, if you believe that confidentiality of your password has been compromised or any other breach of security. All of your registration and account history information is kept on a secure server to protect your privacy from outside parties. All of your private information is used for the limited purposes of processing your orders, for statistical purposes to improve our site and services, to assist in our site administration and to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you.

ABOUT DELIVERY

At DARK SELECTIONS we will process your order as soon as possible, generally within 1 working day of order confirmation.
We send all our orders via Australia Post, and dependant on delivery schedules for your location you will receive your order within 1-14 working days from date of order.

ABOUT PAYMENT & PAYMENT METHODS

All prices quoted on the Site are in Australian Dollars, and are inclusive of GST (10%).

Credit Cards:

We accept Visa & MasterCard. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. We also accept payment via: Cheque/Money Order, Electronic Funds Transfer, PayPal. For payments made via Cheque, Money Order or EFT, please note that goods will not be despatched until receipt and clearance of funds.

ABOUT REFUNDS & RETURNS

Refunds

Please choose sizes and colours carefully as 'made to order' products (i.e. Show Rug Sets) can not be refunded or exchanged if the wrong colours or sizes are ordered. No refunds will be given on any products unless goods are proved to be faulty by our suppliers. If an ordered item becomes unavailable then a refund will be offered. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind, or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods: are faulty have been wrongly described are different from a sample shown to you, or do not do what they are supposed to. Any orders that you receive incorrectly through the fault of DARK SELECTIONS will be replaced at no additional charge to you, or you can choose to receive a full refund of the initial charge. If you order a product incorrectly, we are happy to refund your purchase or swap the unwanted item for another product, provided you notify us of the error within 3 days of date of receipt of goods and the products are returned to us unused, in original packaging, and in a resalable condition. In this case, you will be responsible for all freight charges incurred. If you paid for your order by credit card, any refunds to you will be credited directly back to that credit card within 2 days of confirmation. If you paid by means other than credit card, DARK SELECTIONS will send you a cheque for the refund amount. Cheque refunds take approximately 7 days to process.

Returns

Goods can only be returned after first communicating the intention to do so with DARK SELECTIONS. During this communication you will be provided with a Goods Return form. This form is to be completed in full, and MUST be included in the returned package. If you are returning an item, you must include the original invoice with the goods - without it, the return will not be accepted. The return process must be started within 10 days of receiving the order. The goods must be in perfect, saleable condition. All returned goods are subject to approval. You must state the reason for the return. On receipt of the goods, we will determine if refund/exchange is applicable. Freight for returned goods is at the customers' expense (unless the goods are proved faulty) - we recommend you get proof of posting as DARK SELECTIONS will not be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Personalised, or made to order goods can not be returned, unless manufacture fault. If the reason for the return is a fault with the product, we will send you a replacement, or we will refund you the cost of the product and the cost of the postage. If you wish to exchange an item, the return of the item is at the customer's expense. Additionally, the customer will be charged for freight on the exchanged item.

DID YOU MAKE A MISTAKE ON YOUR ORDER?

Once an order has been placed, we cannot guarantee being able to change that order prior to shipping. However, if you notify us of an order error via email or fax as soon as possible, being sure to include your order number date of purchase, we will do our best to correct the order for you.

PRODUCTS OUT OF STOCK

If we are out of stock of a product you have ordered, we will contact you via phone as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours) and provide you with an estimated time when the product is expected to be back in stock. At this stage you can:

  • Keep the item on backorder (If you choose to have the other items despatched then your payment will be processed in full. The backordered item/s will then be forwarded when it arrives in stock, however there will be no additional postage charge for that/those item/s.
  • Choose to take a refund of any monies paid for the out of stock product/s
  • Replace the product with another(s) to the same value if you wish.
